The Go Bag allows you to view your credit report, monitor your credit, search for real estate and receive updates on your property.

Vetted VA™ Credit Support

Credit incidents can happen to anyone, at any time, for any reason. They are not always because of lack of ability, or dereliction to duty, but no matter the reason for the issue the recovery can feel insurmountable and unbearable.

There are different ways to start managing your credit, but the most important thing to do is to start now. Waiting will only make everything worse. This is how we suggest starting:

1. Sign up for a GoBag account. By partnering with Finlocker to create this tool for you we’re bringing management to your fingertips. You information won’t be solicited or sold to anyone. For more information on the tool and how it can be used checkout the page here.

2. Attack your credit report on your own! If you sign up for a GoBag account you will be able to manage your updated credit report. The report is a “soft pull” meaning it’s a look at credit, but not being used to determine if you will be offered credit. So it doesn’t affect your score. What it does tell you is how well you are making timely payments, if there are any late/derogatory payments being reported, and how much of your available credit is being used. There are some templates of challenge letters at the bottom of this page that you might want to check out.

3. Call one of our Vetted VA™ Credit Support professionals. These professionals have, like all of our Vetted VA™ Professionals, passed testing on the VA Home Loan Benefit. They understand the VA Lender Guidelines and how the VA, and then specific lenders, view credit issues when it comes to qualifying. A call is just a coaching to help understand where you’re coming from and how to move you forward.
