Brian Dix

Brian Dix is a mission-driven mortgage advisor who brings a steady, analytical approach to helping veterans and their families understand their home financing options and make confident decisions. Brian’s approach to lending was shaped years before he entered the mortgage industry. During a 20-year Marine Corps career that included service in Presidential Security Forces and later in intelligence, he learned to listen closely, pay attention to details, think several steps ahead, and act with integrity. After active duty and continuing his service in the Marine Corps Reserve, Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Claremont McKenna College. Together, those experiences established the foundation for how he works today: make complicated subjects understandable, identify potential issues early, and communicate clearly so people can make well-informed decisions. For roughly 10 years, Brian has worked across mortgage origination, compliance, and daily operations, giving him a broad understanding of how transactions move and where borrowers most often need clarity. He is known for a patient, thorough, and no-pressure approach, particularly when helping veterans navigate the details of the VA home loan benefit (a process he experienced personally before entering the lending profession). Away from work, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, usually outdoors caring for their chickens, goats, and donkey, or milling lumber for his next project. It is a hands-on lifestyle that keeps him grounded in the values that guide his work: purpose, discipline, and doing things the right way.
