Michael Wolff

Born and raised in NY, I moved to Los Angeles and became an early adopter of the "work from home" life in tech. It didn't take long to realize I wanted something more — something that actually made a difference in people's lives. In 2003, I took the leap into lending. I started at a retail lender, but I quickly figured out my passion was in the broker channel. I earned my broker license in 2006 and founded my own company. It was a risk. It was worth it. I survived the Great Recession, got married, had two kids, and then Covid hit. Zoom School broke us. After some soul-searching — and a few promises to my wife that a much bigger house was definitely part of the plan — we packed up and moved the family to Raleigh in the fall of 2020. We bought a house sight unseen, based on photos and video. Sold the furniture. Hired the movers. Told our families we were leaving. In that exact order. In 2024, I brought my business under the Go Rascal Inc. banner. The move gave me back what mattered most: more time with my family, and more time building real relationships with clients and realtor partners — instead of running the back office of a company. Strong relationships are the foundation of everything I do. I go above and beyond for my clients, and it shows. They don't think of me as a vendor. They think of me as family. Outside of work, you'll find me cooking, running the smoker, or on the jiu-jitsu mats. It's how I stay sharp and grounded — so I show up for my clients with the same energy every time.
