I’m a Marine Corps veteran, husband, dad to two girls, and a Senior Loan Originator. A big part of my business is VA lending, and working with Veterans and military families is something I genuinely enjoy. I handle everything from regular VA purchases and refinances to construction loans, manufactured homes, and some of the more complicated situations where the answer isn’t always obvious. Those are honestly some of my favorite files to work on. If somebody says something can’t be done with a VA loan, I want to know why. Is it actually a VA requirement, a lender overlay, or just the way somebody has always done it? That’s a big reason I became involved with Vetted VA. There is a lot of bad or outdated information out there about VA loans, and Veterans deserve better than that. I try to keep things pretty simple with my clients. I’ll tell you what I know, explain why, and if I don’t know the answer, I’ll go find it. I want the Veterans I work with to actually understand their options and their VA benefit instead of just being told what loan they should get. At the end of the day, I want to be somebody Veterans can trust to give them a straight answer and help them make the right decision for themselves and their family.
